Synopsis

'Make Room for Daddy' follows the misadventures of Danny Williams (Danny Thomas), a successful comedian perpetually struggling to balance show business with family life. Married to a stern but loving wife, Margaret (Jean Hagen), Williams is often faced with placating his wife's feelings of neglect while at the same time meeting the demands put on him as an entertainer. After Margaret dies, Williams remarries to young Irish nurse Kathy O'Hara (Marjorie Lord), getting a second chance at cultivating a healthy, happy marriage.
