Can you tell the difference between these classic TV characters and their doppelgängers?

Can you recognize these evil twins, criminal lookalikes and identical classmates?

 CBS Television Distribution/Genesis International/Warner Brothers

The German word “doppelgänger” refers to a person who looks very similar to someone they are not related to – an identical stranger. Though meeting your own doppelgänger in real life is relatively rare, you wouldn’t know that from watching television. All kinds of shows – westerns, sitcoms, dramas – all use the doppelgänger trope.

We’ve collected some classic TV doppelgängers and mixed them up with regular characters who just look a little different than usual. Can you identify who is who?

Have to wonder whether they would count Captain Kirk as "real" or "imposter" when the transporter split him in two. Or when Janice Lester switched bodies with him (it was the real Kirk's body even though it wasn't really Kirk).

They missed a bet by not showing Jethrine Bodine; only case of a double on that whole series as far as I can remember, unless you want to count the two different guys played by the same actor late in the run (one was a Navy frogman).

Also interesting that they skipped Gilligan's Island. Especially since three of the castaways got doubles in the three seasons it was on, explaining each one in a pretty creatively different way (Mr Howell's was a guy who was deliberately impersonating him to spend his money, Ginger's was someone who wasn't aware of the resemblance until they gave her a makeover to boost her self-confidence, and Gilligan's was a Soviet spy who got plastic surgery so he could infiltrate and find out what those suspicious Americans were up to on that island).

A perfect score. Unusual for me. I usually get at least one or two wrong.
