Am I the only one who HATES turkey?
Chicken's better. Never had goose but would like to try it once. Had duck a couple of times....blech!
Some relatives eat roast beef so I guess that would be the same as ham (which is usually for Christmas).

Roast Goose is a traditional Christmas DAY dinner, and if you like dark meat it's the best. But cooking it properly takes some research. Its not like roasting a turkey. (poultry vs foul) My family's traditional Christmas EVE dinner war Prime Rib Roast.

Turkey = Andy Griffith. Just one choice seems like some sort of punishment. How about something involving an entire meal next time? First plate typically includes turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and pecan pie!

You're correct there. Not an inexpensive item if you were to order one. Probably a little cheaper if you make it yourself, if you have the culinary skills.
