Synopsis

Traversing the American landscape in a red-hot Corvette convertible, Tod Stiles (Martin Milner) and Buz Murdock (George Maharis) are young and restless, kept on the move by nothing more than an insatiable sense of adventure. Wandering from place to place, taking odd jobs to stay afloat, the two men are put into close contact with troubled individuals and inexorably get caught up in their struggles. Recognized for intelligent writing headed up by creator Stirling Silliphant, the focus is kept away from the two protagonists and instead placed on the plights of the characters portrayed by guest stars, many of which went on to fame, such as E.G. Marshall, Walter Matthau, Ed Asner, William Shatner and DeForest Kelley.
