Synopsis

Set in the wilds of 1770s Boonesborough, Kentucky, frontiersman Daniel Boone (Fess Parker) finds adventure, unlikely allies and assorted foes in this series portraying the iconic American. Having previously played Davy Crockett in the Walt Disney anthology television series, Parker again dons the coonskin-cap as Boone, another hero of the untamed American frontier, who is aided in his adventures by son Israel (Darby Hinton), Oxford educated half-native American Mingo (Ed Ames), former slave Gabe Cooper (Roosevelt Grier) and innkeeper Cincinnatus (Dal McKennon).
