Synopsis
Sharing a universe with rural sitcoms 'The Beverly Hillbillies' and 'Green Acres,' 'Petticoat Junction' follows hotel owner Kate Bradley (Bea Benaderet), her three lively and curvaceous daughters and their uncle. While lazy Uncle Joe Carson (Edgar Buchanan) helps in the day-to-day running of the business, Bradley serves as mediator to the various minor crises that befall her daughters, Bobbie Jo (Lori Saunders), Billie Jo (Meredith MacRae) and Betty Jo Bradley (Linda Kaye Henning), as the three beauties experience life in the appropriately named Hooterville.
